The Western Pennsylvania Musicians Group is the result of the longtime vision of its founder, Ralph Moffat, to provide young musicians with an affordable, drug and alcohol free environment where they could pursue their creative aspirations and ambitions.

In September of 1990 Ralph was able to begin to fulfill his dream when he began the W.P.M.G. in the basement of a Homestead pizza shop.

Since its founding, the W.P.M.G. has moved into a larger, well equipped practice facility in west homestead. There, young musicians are able to practice, record and perform their music in an environment absent of the dangers and distractions of drugs and alcohol.

While it offers an excellent facility for practicing, the W.P.M.G. is much more. It is a place for young talent to develop and experience the true rewards of playing music with their peers.
